I am back from a week's break on Dartmoor, one of our favourite places to go when we need a change of scenery. The fog that shrouded the Moors some days gave the perfect atmosphere to re-read The Hound of the Baskervilles at night, in a comfy chair, next to a log fire with a steaming cup of hot chocolate.
I came back home to find that our copies of Kim Hargreaves Cherished had arrived!... That was the perfect end of the holiday. I can think of a few patterns I could knit to take with me on my next trip to Widecombe in the Moor...
What a lovely and mystic place and atmosphere at the Moor, I so much love the fog, especially when viewed from the cosy and warm home. Seems that you`ve had a perfect vacation, must be so good to have walks in this beautiful landscape and then come home and enjoy the now so soon dark afternoons and evenings.
Love this picture of the new KH book, too, the knitting looks so soft and snuggly.

I love how it looks so romantic.
That cardigan is lovely too. The texture looks interesting. Looks like double moss stitch. And the yarn must be so soft that it still drapes gently with all that textured knitting. Kim Hargreaves is awesome. I wonder what colour you will knit your cardi in.
