Temptation...

It was such a quick knitting project on 12mm needles! I loved the tailored look and the shawl collar.  Unfortunately, once I tried it on, I quickly realised that this style doesn't really suit me...  and my children  did indeed confirm my suspicions by agreeing with me...  What a huge disappointment!...

Maybe, it would have been better for me if the jacket had been straight (i.e. without waist shaping)?...  Will I have the courage to start all over again and find out?

Vintage Winter project

  I am back from a very wet holiday spent in Devon. Dartmoor was still lovely clouded in its mysterious mist.

Temptation is finished but I need to sew up the pieces and find some buttons, so photos should follow soon...

From huge 12mm needles, I am changing now to tiny 2.75mm ones. I have cast on Fontaine from Rowan 44 in a lovely shade called Victoria. 

This project will take me ages to complete but I believe there are enough details to keep me interested such as the shaping at the back and the front pockets.

Fontaine will be my main Winter project. Needless to say, some other, smaller ones, will creep up in between...
