Seasons come and go, and our moods change accordingly. With the first days of Spring, I usually start looking at my fabrics with longing... Winter days are perfectly suited for the slow rhythm of knitting, but when the light is brighter and the days grow longer, I yearn for quicker projects. It is time to dust the sewing-machine...
Out come my old Marie-Claire Idees magazines for inspiration and I start playing with fabric and beads. I quite fancy a new bag for Summer...
I also gave in to temptation and ordered this book seen on some French blogs. You might say that I am a bit too old for dolls and unfortunately my daughter has never played with them and never will now, so why bother?... The reason is that I have always wanted to make a cloth doll and if I don't try now, it is one of the things I might regret not to have done...
The flower is so cute. I really should make better use of my Marie Claire magazines. Look forward to seeing your spring sewing.

Il me semble l'avoir aperçu aussi ce livre. La poupée de couverture a l'air très chou, ça donne envie de redevenir petite fille, non ? Allez, laisse-toi tenter ! Par le livre et les petites nostalgies de l'enfance...

The doll book looks very interesting, can you give me more details, thanks. Its funny how spring makes you feel like sewing and autumn makes your fingers itch to knit.

I am definetly with you, I think a girl can never be too old to fancy dolls, especially such cute ones. I seems you will have a lot of fun during your next year.
