Here is at last my Mystery Project. The wrap cardi from Rebecca 29 but without eyelets. You might call it Plain Rebecca... It didn't take me that long to make and it was a pleasure to knit (yes, honestly...). I love the colour and the wool is so soft and light. If I may say so, I am quite pleased with myself because a) for once I have finished something in a short time, b) it fits and c) I might even wear it a few times... Oh, and I nearly forgot : the children didn't say "What is it, Mum?" (surely that must be an improvement...)
I have done a few more rows of my Branching Out scarf and here is a preview :
I think this one will turn up to be a quick project too... I love those! (Makes me feel good)
I have got to work out how to arrange the beads afterwards but that will be the fun part of it.
I haven't forgotten Martha and she is growing slowly but nicely. I decided not to race anymore and to enjoy my small projects in between. It helps...
It looks fantastic on you. Well done.

You made a lovely job, they're handy little things to have these wraps. How are you going to attach the beads? I added mine as I went along, but found out I hadn't threaded enough so had to cut the yarn and rejoin, doh!

Very pretty - great colour! Your Branching Out scarf is looking pretty as well - did you see that Tracy at woollywarbler.typepad.com did a version with a beaded edge just recently?
I like mixing up the projects - a girl needs something for lace-y days, something for cable-y days, something for aran-y days.....

that is a great FO, looks wonderful on you. i loved the branching out pattern - with a nice short row length, the repeats seem to go by satisfyingly quickly. can't wait to see it with the beads on!

Oh wow! Plain Rebecca is lovely (and not at all plain!). The colour is just scrumptious! You have also just rekindled my desire to give Branching Out a go!

My daughter and I love your wrap cardi. Was this fun to make? I have it seen knit-up by other people too and I have been thinking og making it. I have never used this yarn or pattern before. It looks great.
