Knitting is a bit slow this week with half-term holidays. Never mind, I steal a few rows where and when I can. But I have a question for all of you who read me : what do you use to carry your knitting around ? Do you throw it in any old plastic bag that you got from the supermarket, or do you use a proper knitting bag (with pockets for needles, etc), or have you bought or made a pretty bag specially for the purpose?
At the moment I have my Mystery project in a paper carrier (quite a nice one...) that I got free when I visited the Country Living Spring Fair last March in London. But Martha is in a un-stylish plastic bag which annoys me a great deal as the ball of wool keeps popping out with my vigourous knitting... So I am asking you for inspiration...
where are you finding these illustrations? they are absolutely gorgeous! i have not one...not two...but three dedicated knitting bags......and a serious desire to buy more of them.

I keep my main knitting project in a bag I purchased from Paperchase (http://www.paperchase.co.uk/index.php?f=itemlist.php&c=7). They are good for a medium-sized project, not too expensive and look very cheerful!

so pretty in fact that i forgot to answer the question. i keep hold of nice sturdy paper bags when i get them (ie Liberty). stuff that is stalled is in a giant woven straw shopper, and stuff i'm carrying around is in a homemade zip up bag in a lovely print of boats and lighthouses. very summery. but i still carry it all winter.

Merci pour ton mail qui me permet de découvrir à mon tour ton blog que je vais mettre dans mes liens de ce pas !
J'utilise de petits sacs en tissu avec une coulisse dans le haut pour ranger mes tricots en cours.
A bientôt.
