Butterfly knitting bag

2007_0107bags0006_2 Today was a glorious day here and ideal to take pictures of my latest design: the Butterfly knitting bag.

The lining is made with an Amy Butler fabric and has an internal pocket big enough for small scissors, tape measure, etc... The outer bag is made with a linen mix fabric, the flowers are knitted and the flying butterfly is felt.

I have made a few of these and they are for sale here .

Once the pictures done,  I enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with Chicago #2.  I have finished the two sleeves and have started the back.

I love the frill even if it means casting on 300+ stitches. I think it is worth the effort. I have made the ribs shorter this time.  Did I mention before that Calmer is one of my favourite yarns??? 2007_0107bags0009_4

J'adore ton sac !

just love this pink butterfly ! oh, oui !

I have just found your blog......hello from another Isle of Wight resident!

Good luck on your new venture!

What a beautiful bag!

Joli petit sac plein de gaieté printanière !

What a cute bag, it is a wonderful design. I love the fine embroidery on the outside, the knitted flowers and the felted butterfly and of course the flowered lining.
It's a real beauty created at the right time.
Greetings from Germany
