A touch of Spring in the air...

Spring is in the air... these last few days anyway, and it is so good to see the sun again. It won't last of course, it never does. It is still February after all, but it is nice to pretend for a little while and browse through the new patterns...

I am quite looking forward to get my hands on the new Rowan magazine. I have seen the previews and liked what I saw so far. I am not really impressed by the Weekender section but the rest is worth a closer look.

I have finished Charlotte first front and I think the neckline will be okay (remember that I don't have the pattern so everything is guess work...). I don't think it will look quite the same but I am working hard at getting a similar look.

Finally, I have bought this beautiful Lane Borgosesia lace weight wool to make a little something from Victorian Lace Today. But more about it later when I come to it... (My fingers are itching though...)

We are feeling some of the coolness of Autumn, only 8*C this morning!!! Charlotte is looking good so far. Oh the new lace wool looks lovely, that is such a good book!! No wonder your fingers are itching!!

Eh bien nous, on n'a pas eu d'hiover du tout. Juste quelques jours avec des températures avoisinnant -2°C, trois flocons tourbillonnant, c'est tout. Que du temps sec, des températures clémentes et du soleil depuis une bonne semaine ! Charlotte est vraiment magnifique, je suis impatiente de voir la suite.

Your Charlotte looks so very pretty so far, I like the front border a lot. And the blue colour, so very very spring-like. Here it is still very cold, although the sun is shining sometimes, it´s always a cold wind blowing, too.
It´s so very lovely, that you are saying 'your fingers are itching'. Sometimes I have the feeling I am the only one who is thinking already about the next project while still casting on the second part of the current one. Now I know I´m not alone!

Charlotte est déjà magnifique , j'ai hâte de le voir terminé . Et ce fil " Lane Borgosesia " est vraiment très beau et ton futur projet dentelle le sera sûrement également .
